About the Property
*Guide Price £275,000 – £300,000*
Cross Keys Estates are very proud to present this rare opportunity to purchase a truly one-of-a-kind property which can be found tucked away along a quiet lane within the peaceful Cornish village of Landrake. The property dates back to 1812, as it formed the original ‘Wesleyan’ Methodist Chapel which served the village until it was deemed too small which then resulted in the adjoining larger chapel being built in 1895 and the original building then converted in to the ‘Methodist Sunday School’. The property has now, along with the neighbouring chapel, been converted into some truly unique homes which ooze style and elegance along with period charm and original features. Due to the larger chapel being converted into two separate properties, this property is now the largest of the three conversions as it occupies the entirety of the original building and offers a superb family home and is beautifully presented throughout…

The staircase rises to the first floor where three generous double bedrooms and a modern family bathroom can be found, all of which are exceptionally well presented and have exposed beams. The master bedroom and bedroom two both boasts fitted wardrobes and the bathroom has been fantastically designed to borrow light from the large window on the landing.
Landrake is a village in southeast Cornwall and is situated approximately three miles west of Saltash in the civil parish of Landrake with St Erney. The A38 road passes through the village giving access deeper into Cornwall with the nearest town being Liskeard and also to nearby Plymouth which is just the other side of the Tamar Bridge, along with the rest of the UK which can be accessed from the A38 which then becomes the M5 at Exeter. Landrake has a post office and shop, a pub named the Bullers Arms and Sir Robert Geffery's School, a primary school. Further facilities can be found in neighbouring Saltash, Liskeard and Plymouth. Regular bus routes operate through Landrake between Liskeard and Plymouth. The village is often missed by those travelling along the A38 who are heading further into Cornwall, making it somewhat of a hidden gem within as stunning rural setting.
This absolutely gorgeous property must be viewed to be appreciated, it offers a really quirky and individual way of life and will be loved by those who are looking for a property with a huge amount of history and character. It's current owner has lovingly redecorated it throughout and it is now exceptionally well presented and ready to move right into. Externally the property benefits from a small seating area and one allocated parking space to the rear, further parking is readily available to the front of the property on the road. Landrake and specifically Church Street appear to have a real sense of community and village life as it can be imagined.
