Cross Keys Estates Covid-19 Policy

During these difficult times we have made amendments to the way we work, under strict Government guidelines, to ensure that our staff and customers are kept as safe as possible whilst keeping our service standards as high as possible.

It is our intention to continue offering our customers the following:

  • Sales or Lettings property valuations – these can either be in person or by way of a virtual valuation.
  • Bringing Sales or Lettings property to the market – all with FREE video tours included.
  • Conducting Viewings – we encourage that you view our video tours before requesting a viewing in person, so that you can confirm that you still hold an interest in the relevant property.
  • Negotiating Sales and providing all post-sale assistance.
  • Moving tenants and purchasers in to their new homes.
  • Maintaining our two levels of service for Lettings: Full Management and Tenant Find Only.

Our office working hours, whilst the Covid-19 restrictions are in force and until further notice are:

Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm, Friday 9am to 5pm.

Contacting us by Telephone

Our telephone system has been upgraded and when calling us on 01752 500018 or 01752 500099 you will be given a menu of options that will ensure your enquiry is dealt with by the correct person in a timely manner.

Office Visits

If you require to visit one of our offices, please call us on 01752 500018 or 01752 500099 beforehand to arrange an appointment. Our offices have been adapted to accommodate visits from the general public but only 2 persons are allowed in at any one time and strict social distancing must be observed.

Client Registration

When registering a client with a view to conducting a viewing or valuation (in person) we will ask if you, or anyone you are living with have symptoms of Covid-19 or are self-isolating. Please respond to this question honestly and understand that it is asked in good faith.

Viewings (in person)

Strict social distancing must be adhered to by all parties at all times.

Only 2 adults will be allowed access for viewings and children are discouraged from attending. Please bring your own sanitiser for use before, during and after the viewing. If a Vendor / Tenant / Landlord has requested that you wear a face mask whilst in the property then you will be informed of this by a member of staff at the time of booking the viewing. You must provide your own face mask.

It is requested that, where possible, the viewer does not touch any surfaces within the property.

Our staff will wear a face mask for the entire duration of the viewing and have hand sanitiser on their person at all times.

Valuations (in person)

Strict social distancing must be adhered to by all parties at all times.

It is requested that only one person (that is over 18) is in attendance to allow access to our Valuer.

Our Valuer will wear a face mask and have hand sanitiser on their person at all times.

Once our Valuer has visited all areas of the property, they will return to the office and give their advice as to the property, including price over the telephone and back this up with a comprehensive letter with comparable evidence attached sent via email (unless a paper copy is requested).

Virtual Valuations

These will be booked in the diary for a convenient time for the client and at the allotted time a call will be made by our Valuer so that they can be shown “virtually” around the property. On completion, a comprehensive letter with comparable evidence will be emailed to the client (unless a paper copy is requested).
